**After Another Successful Year, We're Expanding into the North East!** By Jake Kirk • Tuesday, 23rd October 2018 We’re excited to announce that after another successful year, we’re expanding our presence into the North East of the UK. This is an exciting step forward for us, building on our existing regional distribution centres in the Midlands, North, Thames Valley, South Wales, South Coast, and South East. Our new regional distribution centre (RDC) in Washington will be staffed by a highly experienced team with deep industry knowledge. This expansion will allow us to better serve local businesses with tailored packaging solutions that are both practical and cost-effective. Leveraging our established network of distribution infrastructure and in-house specialist teams, we’ll work closely with our local experts in the North East to provide comprehensive support. Our services include corrugated re-design, custom Automotive & Aerospace packaging, in-the-box solutions, load stability and stretch film optimization, and full compliance with all relevant packaging regulations. This growth follows a productive year for us, during which we launched two important industry white papers. The first focused on load retention, while the second, titled *“There is no planet B,”* explored sustainable practices in plastic packaging. These publications highlight the depth of expertise and guidance available within our organization. In addition, we introduced our mobile packaging test facility – the first of its kind in the industry. This fully equipped truck allows our packaging technologists to travel directly to customers, conduct on-site testing, and develop bespoke packaging solutions. It’s a powerful tool that helps optimize pack design through QVE/VAVE and ensures load stability with stretch film audits. Looking ahead, we’re confident that our new North East RDC will play a key role in supporting local businesses and driving innovation in packaging. With plans to expand further in the near future, we’re committed to delivering excellence and sustainability across the region.
