With the Fit typesetting software, in the normal layout area, since there is a renewal mark, the typesetting of the subsequent block text can be arbitrarily used.

However, in actual operation, the method of converting the irregular layout into the typesetting region has not been found yet. After many practices, we finally found a solution to this problem.

The steps are as follows:

A. Draw two primitives (such as any closed area drawn with a polyline) and use the "Path Properties" in "Artwork" to convert it into a typesetting area.

B Distribute the sampled file to a layout area (the article is not finished). The key step here is to use the "Link" tool in the tool bar to first select the first irregular area and then select the second irregularity piece. A large, suggestive red arrow will appear at this point, then point the cursor to the Select tool in the toolbar and the red arrow will disappear.

C Select the irregular article block of the text with the “Select” tool and select any “handle” that appears. Hold down the right mouse button and touch the “handle” with another irregular piece. Subsequent text can now be placed in the second article block.

D Restore the first irregular piece of paper to the shape you want.

As long as you master this method, you can draw arbitrary shape article areas on your layout, without worrying about the problem. This arrangement adds fresh, lively blood to the layout.

Second, the use of image deformation tools

For a newspaper, you often encounter changes in the font size during the typesetting process. If you select a font size to change its size, you will lose a lot of time. At this time, you can use the image transformation tool to change the title. In the district, pull and expand, this will not only not affect the font change, but will save a lot of work time.

There will also be some problems in the work of changing the size of the area occupied by advertisements, because newspaper advertisements are mainly based on the size of the layout. So sometimes it will change its shape according to the needs of the layout. At this time, it is very troublesome for an advertisement with complicated content. You can combine all the contents of this advertisement into blocks, and then use the graphic pull-and-push tool to make adjustments. This will save time and effort.

Third, how to restore accidentally deleted Fit layout files

At work, if you accidentally overwrite or accidentally delete a useful Fit layout. There is an easy way to recover it without having to remake it. In Windows Explorer, find the directory where this file is located. You will find that there is a backup file for this file in the target, ie bak file. Select this backup file, in the "File" option, select "Rename", rename the .bak file to the suffix .fit file, the file name needs to be changed, it is best not to use the previous file name.
