If it can represent natural conditions and the capacity of the test chamber allows, other air speeds can also be used.
b) Sand blowing in sand and dust test chamber
An 18ms wind that can blow large particles of sand is common, while a gust of up to 29ms is uncommon. If the dust blowing test of h in the field is known, add 6h high temperature storage or high temperature working dust blowing test. If necessary, stop the test after the first 6h in order to stabilize the test chamber conditions before starting the second 6h cycle.
Sand blow test shall be carried out for each vulnerable surface for at least 90min.

c) Dust reduction in sand and dust test chamber: For the dust reduction test, the relationship between severity (duration and concentration) is difficult to determine. The actual conditions change significantly, and the purpose of this test is to standardize the method of verifying the survivability of the equipment, so there is no need to reproduce the actual conditions. Therefore, only guidelines on the relationship between the severity of the test and certain quantities from actual conditions are given. Unless otherwise specified, a dust settling rate of 6gm2d is used.
