Idee + Form's Sports Cover

The movement cover that consumers can drink without having to unscrew the lid has in the past only applied to non-carbonated soft drinks. The general sports cover cannot adapt to the high pressure in the bottle body. Once the transportation temperature is relatively high, carbon dioxide is easily lost. Therefore, even if the carbonated beverage is very low, the sports cover cannot be used. If the pressure in the bottle is lost and the bottle is returned to storage in a low temperature environment, the bottle will easily generate a vacuum and deform. In addition, aseptically cold-filled bottles must be sterilized, and almost all sports caps have dead ends that cannot be flushed with disinfectant.

There is a new type of sports cap that can be applied to carbonated drinks, that is, Idee + Form, Germany. They will participate in PETpoint for the first time this year and exhibit the latest gas-tight sports cap at the show. This new sports cover overcomes the disadvantages of the traditional sports cover mentioned above. It can withstand a pressure of 8 bar inside the bottle and it can also be used for aseptic cold filling.
