6.4 Maintenance of Mo Lu

The function of the ink path is to provide ink continuously, stably and evenly on the printing plate, so the requirements are particularly high. The following uses the transmission key diagram of Molu to analyze the matters needing attention in Molu maintenance:

Ink fountain roller and ink fountain-ink transfer roller-one-level single line roller-ink leveling silver and heavy roller-main rate ink roller-ink leveling roller and heavy roller-final ink string roller-ink roller-rubber-paper

1. Ink fountain and ink fountain roller

The ink fountain and ink fountain roller are used to control the output ink volume. Their surface must be clean, otherwise it may cause the ink roller surface to wear or draw deep grooves. When not printing, it is best to separate the ink fountain and ink fountain roller, and wash the ink clean after work. In addition, pay attention to whether there are impurities in the ink every time. If so, they should be selected. Do not completely pinch the parts that don't need to be starred. There should be a certain gap. This ink of Inner Europe has a lubricating effect. The ink fountain should be installed under the ink fountain and the ink fountain roller, otherwise the impurities overflowing from this gap may fall into the machine, causing printing failure. Residues on the ink tray should also be cleaned regularly.

2. Ink transfer roller

The function of the ink transfer roller is to transfer the ink on the ink fountain to the ink cross roller. This requires that the pressure on both sides be uniform, otherwise it will cause fast wear and slow wear at the same time, and finally cause the transfer roller to become conical, causing the uniformity of the ink transfer to be destroyed. Because the transfer roller oscillates back and forth, the impact it receives is relatively large, which may sometimes cause the pin of the swing crank to bend or break. Therefore, the pressure between it and the two ink rollers should be checked regularly.

3. Ink roller

The function of the upper ink roller is to distribute the ink evenly in the primary axial direction and the circumferential direction. However, it should be noted that the surface material should have weak acid resistance, so as to ensure the smooth transfer of ink downward. When cleaning the ink path, the surface should be cleaned. Otherwise, the ink remaining on it may solidify, causing uneven wear on the surface of the rubber roller. The maintenance of the main inking roller and the last-stage inking roller is the same as the above.

4. Ink roller and heavy roller

The ink leveling roller and heavy roller are used for leveling the ink. As long as the surface of the ink leveling roller is clean and the accuracy is guaranteed, it should be checked regularly by the cardholder. The heavy roller is mainly used to prevent the ink leveling roller from vibrating. It can also play the role of dirt collection. Paper wool and other impurities will accumulate on it. Otherwise, for a long time, these impurities will be fixed on the surface, which is particularly difficult to clean.

5. Inking roller

The inking roller is an important part in the maintenance of the ink path. The accuracy of the inking roller is directly related to the quality of the printing quality, so its accuracy should be checked regularly. Once it is found that its accuracy cannot meet the requirements, it should be replaced immediately, and the full run of the inking roller should not exceed 0.02 mm. The pressure between the inking roller and the inking roller and the printing plate should be adjusted correctly, otherwise it will cause rapid wear. In addition, the inking roller itself should not have any turbulence, otherwise it will affect the print quality.

6. Plate cylinder

Plate rolling is to transfer the ink to the rubber cylinder in the manner permitted by the plate. For the printing plate, the non-graphic part of the surface should have good water absorption, while the graphic part should have good resistance to water and ink absorption, and the thickness of the printing plate should be uniform. Only if the above requirements are met can the printing plate transfer the ink well. The diameter of the plate cylinder is not easy to change, otherwise it will cause the ink roller to wear quickly.

7. Rubber roller

The function of the rubber cylinder is to transfer the ink on the printing plate directly to the surface of the printing sheet. The accuracy of the rubber cylinder is directly related to the printing quality. Impurities on the surface of the blanket should be removed in time, otherwise these impurities will solidify on the blanket, resulting in increased printing pressure and sometimes even damage the blankets in these parts.

8. Paper

Paper is the last place to accept ink. To ensure good inking performance of printed sheets, first of all, the thickness of the printed sheets must be uniform, and secondly, the surface of the printed sheets should have a recommended pulling speed, which can prevent debris such as paper wool from returning to the ink path and affecting the quality of printing.
