1. Check the text

This is a lot of work, especially in the case of a lot of layout text. But this work must be done again. In the process of DTP design, production and output, due to various reasons (including software, equipment, personnel factors), it will cause typos, misplacement, lost characters, lost strokes, font changes, garbled characters, color changes, etc. These need to be checked carefully, especially the lost strokes, it is easy to ignore. Therefore, when checking text, it is often necessary to check verbatim. Some people think that as long as there are black and white proofs, and the black and white proofs are no problem, it is not. Because the black and white samples and the output may use different PS files and RIP, there may be deviations between the two, and this deviation may cause the occurrence of waste products, which is not sloppy.

2. Check the film for scratches

There are two general types of scratches: black lines and white lines. The black line is caused by damage to the film surface of the film before fixing. Some black lines are very thin and require careful inspection to find out, but they will be more obvious once printed, so when checking, you can put a piece of white Paper under the film, which is easier to detect. The white line is caused by scratching in the fixing and subsequent processes, or scratching the base surface of the film before. If the general problem of scratching the base of the film is not serious, you can print it on the plate; if you scratch the surface of the drug film and damage the graphic part, you need to re-export it.

3. After outputting the film, you need to use a ruler to measure the size of the core

The error of the size of the center of the plate will be caused by the error of the production, the error of the scaling and phototypesetting equipment during the output and printing. Generally, after the production is completed, before the output, the production output personnel should check the page according to the customer's requirements and correct the errors in the production. One aspect of inspection should include whether the core size is consistent with the user requirements, so that the core size error caused by production errors can be avoided. In order to print some black and white proofs, some files can put the entire page on a piece of paper, so "full version printing" was selected when printing. This option is used to output the size of the center of the zoom. In the above two cases, the production and output staff can be careful to avoid the size error of the center of the plate, and the equipment error cannot be checked before the output. 4. Check the size and position of text and images

In some typesetting software, some functions are used, or the image is scaled in the typesetting software, and the format of the image is not well placed in some typesetting software, it will cause changes in the size of the text, image, and location. 5. Check the color

The main check for color is whether the color separation is correct. Some people set the color in the production, but the color that should be printed in four colors chose the spot color. Some people put the image in RGB mode, and these output films will be reflected. On color plates that should not have colors, dots will appear, and there will be certain deviations in color during printing. It is inconsistent with the design idea and user's intention, and causes loss.

6. Check layout information

Each piece of film needs information such as crosshairs, corner lines, color scales, ladders, etc., and some special pages also need to have polylines to facilitate the work of the post-process. The crosshairs and corners are used to register and cut the finished product. The color scales and ladders are used to check the density, color and tone of the ground. These are very necessary for the work and quality inspection of the post-process. province.

7. Check overprint

Some people may say that the accuracy of the output device is very high, and the overprinting is accurate, no need to check. This statement is wrong. There are certain errors in the equipment, and the error of each type of equipment is different. Some devices have a certain error in overprinting when outputting large-format pages. Sometimes this error will be more than one line, which will cause difficulties in the back-end printing; while some devices will have a large error in overprinting when they are revised. It is necessary to re-output the four-color film, not just one color. Therefore, it must be checked whether the film overprint is accurate.

8. Check the trap

This item mainly checks whether there is any white leakage in some places where the colors are connected.
