According to reports, the food company uses nitrogen to increase the strength of beverage cans by dissolving nitrogen in beverages prior to beverage canning. After the beverage cans are sealed, nitrogen is released from the beverages and forms a type of can wall. The pressure makes the can equal to an inflatable can, thereby increasing the strength of the can. In this way, the canned beverage will not be damaged whether it is stacked on a transport tray or on a supermarket shelf. At the same time, nitrogen does not affect the quality of the beverage. This method of increasing the strength of beverage cans with nitrogen can also be used for beverage soft packs made of polyester plastics.
