First, the core processing process

Milling backs and grooving are the differences between paperback books and books. The public is the important link for determining whether or not the glue binding bookbinding can be firmly bonded. If the milling and backing and grooving effects are not good, the quality of the glue binding will be affected. Product pages, loose pages. In order to avoid this phenomenon, the glue-binding operator in production must always observe the working conditions and effects of the milling back and slotting work station and find that the problem is immediately shut down and adjusted.

1. The back of the book block must be milled into individual sheets. During operation, it was found that when the gauge ruler is normal (such as the scale of the platform 3 and the cutter scale of the milling cutter 0.2), the individual pages are not well-grounded, and the open edges are flush, and there is no phenomenon of missing pages. After observing, the main reason is due to the improper adjustment of the trimming disc of the milling back station. When the book clamping disc is tight, the back of the book can easily cause a slight protrusion in the middle of the book block, and the front and rear signatures are either impermeable or wrinkle. When the clip disc is too loose, it may cause the book block to be slanted back, or it will pull down the front and back posts, fall into the people or slotting station, and sometimes even fall into the plastic pot, turn the camel and product quality. After careful observation, compared with yesterday, it was found that the positioning and force-increasing effects of the book holder should be tight and suitable. When the machine is shut down, the book holder clips the book block into a milling cutter station, adjusts the handle and rotates the outer folder, and feels that the disc can rotate with a slight force. Run-time adjustment, through the observation window visually clamped book disc slightly lifted to the best position when the book. After such adjustments, the fact that the signature was pulled down and backed off would no longer occur. In addition, when the folding is not good, there are also cases where the inner page cannot be cut through. For safety reasons in production, the platform can be adjusted to the 4 or 5 position without affecting the graphic layout and cutting amount. The platform adjuster and the scale of the knife remain unchanged. It can also work well.

2. The advantages of the slotting effect directly affect the quality of product adhesive. The martini bookbinding machine slotting station is an independent single beam motor, and a carbide blade is mounted on a clockwise one-way turntable, and the pallet is copper. The most disadvantage of this design and configuration is that the blade is hard and the copper plate is soft, so it wears fast and it is very easy to cause the depth of slotting is not enough, inconsistent, even the last two pages of the book without slots, every time the production of 2000-3000 books, it must be Copper pallets are changed once and re-slotted. It takes 5-8 minutes for each face change. When transporting land according to the normal production plan, it takes more than two hours to replace the copper pallet for each shift, which seriously restricts the performance and production progress of the equipment. To this end, we have improved the slotting station and replaced the copper pallets with nylon pallets, glue-wood pallets and steel pallets. It was found in the experiment that the use of steel pallets is better, and the line shift can be changed twice in production. The depth of slotting is about 1.2mm. The thickened cemented carbide insert remanufactured by Martini was equipped with steel pallets, which greatly improved the durability of the original copper pallets with 2mm alloy inserts, but each shift still needs to change surface 1-2. Times.

The direct cause of rapid damage to the slotted blades is the inconsistent installation height at the time of blade replacement and the lack of clamping between the toothed cutter heads. When replacing the blades, it is important to note that the tooth tip heights of all the slotted blades must be the same and all can smoothly pass through the A-shaped slot of the pallet. If any one fails to pass smoothly, it must be re-installed and adjusted. When adjusting, care should be taken to ensure that the clearance between the tip of the blade and the notch of the blade is the smallest, and the space between the blades must be tightly clamped on the positioning pin. One hand can be used to tighten the cutter head to fix it, and the other is to fasten the bolt. Otherwise, after the equipment is running, due to the large slotting impulse, it is easy to shift the blade, raise the cutter head, and scrape the tip of the teeth. The entire blade is broken into pieces, which results in the back of the book being deeply grooved and shallow, with different sizes, and some parts even without grooves, which seriously affect the evenness of the glue coating in the groove.

There are four ways of installing 1, 2, 3, and 6 blades in the slotting blade. Each mode will produce different slotting effects. According to data, the distance between the back slot should be 3-5mm in order to reach the initial pull strength required by the glue book and the knot strength of the pages. When three slotted blades are installed and the binder is operating at speeds of 4000-6000 bpm, the spacing of the slots is exactly within this range (3-5 mm), and it is small by a normal operation speed. When the bookbinding speed is 3500/h, the groove is between 2.8-3.7mm, and when the speed is 6000/h, the groove spacing is between 4.1-5.2mm. When two blades are installed, the gap between slots is affected by the machine speed; one blade is installed and the gap between the slots is too large; when six blades are installed, the back slots are serrated.

The wire cutter brushing function of the slotting station is very good. After cleaning the shredded paper scraps in the back slot of the book, the glue liquid can be poured into the trough. At the same time, the paper shreds can be prevented from falling into the glue pan with the book block. When it is found that the brush wire head wears too much, it should be replaced in time.
