KBA will launch the latest model at MedPrint

A few days ago in Naples, Italy, the Medprint exhibition will be held. KBA will exhibit B2's Rapida 74 five-color ribbon coating and B3 Genius 52 press. In addition, KBA will also exhibit a 46 Karatplus SRA3. The 18,000-page Rapida 74 is displayed for the first time in Italy. It features a coating unit and take-up extension unit plus some automation modules such as automatic plate change and Clean the impression cylinder. This is a representative of high-quality on-line printing and coating. It can use a mixture of inks to complete the production of postcards and posters at one time. It and Denstronic of KBA

Basic electronic color control systems and CIPlink workstations are connected to support prepress data conversion for printer setup. The non-stop components at the feeder and the height-adjustable non-stop pick-up rollers greatly increase production efficiency. The ACS (Air Cleaning System) extractor at the delivery can effectively reduce the gas volatilization.

The Genius 52 on display is a 5-color machine with more users in Italy. Its ghost-free inkless ink inking unit and waterless offset printing technology demonstrate superb print quality. The smallest machine wasted and ultra-compact shape design, coupled with the main function of higher automation, makes it a very cost-effective device. It is located in print shops that for some reason are reluctant to adopt direct imaging technology.

46 Karatplus utilizes Presstek imaging technology and the ProFire digital waterless version, which can be imaged on plates with conventional screening or FM screening at a resolution of 120 lines per centimeter (300 dpi), increasing the baseline for product quality.

Italy is one of the largest areas of the KBA sheet-fed offset press. There are markets for various models of Rapida, which are mainly used in the fields of business, book printing and packaging printing. KBA is also one of the major suppliers to the Italian rotary market. Its 16pp to 64pp high-performance commercial rotary presses are used by the largest Italian printing companies and publishers.
