According to the Zhuhai Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, on November 21st, the National Plastics Product Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC48) held the National Standards Review Conference for PET Bottles in Zhuhai. More than 20 experts from all parts of the country participated in the review meeting. The standard was led by Zhuhai Zhongfu Industry Co., Ltd., and Beijing Yanjing Beer Group Corporation and Guangzhou Zhujiang Beer Group assisted in the formulation. The polyethylene terephthalate (PET) beer bottle is the world's newest beer packaging container. The introduction of this standard will promote the production and market specification of the product. The standard has passed the review of the expert group, and the revised draft is to be submitted to the National Standards Committee for approval and promulgation.
